El grupo franc\u00e9s de supermercados ha comunicado su decisi\u00f3n de frenar la venta de su negocio en el pa\u00eds y <strong>seguir operando normalmente con sus m\u00e1s de 700 sucursales en Argentin<\/strong>a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed lo confirm\u00f3 Alexandre Bompard, CEO de Carrefour global en la presentaci\u00f3n de su plan estrat\u00e9gico desde Par\u00eds. El motivo de la cancelaci\u00f3n de la venta es <strong>no haber encontrado ninguna oferta que convenciera a la compa\u00f1\u00eda francesa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La decisi\u00f3n se tom\u00f3 tras haber analizado todas las propuestas desde que se abri\u00f3 el proceso de venta <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justretail.news\/latam\/noticias\/carrefour-analiza-vender-o-asociarse-en-argentina\/\">a mediados del a\u00f1o pasado<\/a>. El directorio de Carrefour remarc\u00f3 que <strong>ninguna estuvo a la altura del valor real del negocio<\/strong> ni de su potencial a futuro en el mercado argentino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLa revisi\u00f3n ya ha concluido, ahora la prioridad en Argentina es mejorar la actividad operativa, ninguna puerta est\u00e1 cerrada, pero el foco est\u00e1 en mejorar el negocio para aprovechar nuestra creaci\u00f3n de valor y luego ver qu\u00e9 sucede en el futuro\u201d, destac\u00f3 Bompard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El proceso fallido de venta<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A mediados del a\u00f1o pasado, Carrefour comunic\u00f3 su intenci\u00f3n de desprenderse de su filial en Argentina. Entre los posibles candidatos a hacerse con el negocio del grupo franc\u00e9s estaba el empresario Francisco de Narv\u00e1ez, due\u00f1o de grupo GDN, que actualmente posee la cadena de supermercados Changom\u00e1s (ex Walmart).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De Narv\u00e1ez hab\u00eda presentado una oferta de 1.000 millones de d\u00f3lares para la integraci\u00f3n de las tiendas Carrefour a su imperio y mantener los 17.000 puestos de trabajo que el grupo franc\u00e9s tiene en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cadena argentina de supermercados Coto tambi\u00e9n son\u00f3 como un posible comprador, en conjunto con el fondo estadounidense Klaff Realty, propietario de la cadena uruguaya Tienda Inglesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La actualidad global de Carrefour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El intento de venta de su filial argentina correspond\u00eda a un proceso de revisi\u00f3n de sus activos. En el \u00faltimo ejercicio, Carrefour complet\u00f3 la compra de las acciones minoritarias de su filial de Brasil, traspas\u00f3 sus operaciones en Italia y anunci\u00f3 la venta de su subsidiaria en Rumania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frente a este panorama, la empresa destac\u00f3 los tres principales mercados donde prioriza su negocio: Francia, Espa\u00f1a y Brasil. Por otro lado, la filial de Argentina, junto con la B\u00e9lgica y Polonia se agrupa en una categor\u00eda donde Carrefour intentar\u00e1 implementar una administraci\u00f3n flexible de sus
